The South-West Flemish region is flourishing with creative initiatives.
Companies innovate on a daily basis. Students enjoy top of the world courses. Citizens enjoy public spaces where they can enjoy life.
The Kortrijk region stands between Singapore and Montreal on the list of Unesco Creative Cities.

These positive developments unconsciously influence us all. But can each of these projects be an example to others? Can it inspire every citizen? Can the region benefit from them? How do projects that normally remain under the radar come to light?

With this in mind, we have created the Experience Box together with the various project partners Designregio Kortrijk, Resoc South-West-Flanders, Intercommunale Leiedal, City of Kortrijk, VOKA West-Vlaanderen, HOWEST and Biennale interior.

The game closet aka arcade-game generates many nostalgic feelings but is nowadays a popular guest in offices, libraries, campuses,... Games like flipper, brick-breaker and flappy bird will probably ring a bell. The Experience box combines these fun and simple games with the elements that make our region so special. You can fly like a bird between our iconic buildings and landscape elements or flip your terms such as "creativity" and "manufacturing industry". After each game, the player gets a glimpse of initiatives and projects that make a difference to our region.
