Within the world of trade fairs and exhibitions, there is still a huge problem of material waste worldwide. With the Fair Circular project, Designregio Kortrijk and Kortrijk Xpo want to test a solution in a local context to drastically reduce waste after an exhibition or fair.

The Fair Circular project aims to give new life to the waste that is left behind after fairs, exhibitions or events and ends up in the container. All the usable waste from Kortrijk Creativity Week can be collected free of charge on Monday afternoon by designers, artists, schools, students, academies, manufacturing labs,... This can be usable wood, cardboard, cardboard rolls, plates,...

How do we proceed?

Pictures will be posted in the Facebook group Circular Fair on Monday morning. The material can then be collected for free at Kortrijk Weide between 3 pm and 6 pm. This can be done by designers, artists, schools, students, academies, production labs, cultural and artistic organisations.
